Mark Beard is a novelist and short story writer. He lives, works, and plays in Central Florida where he enjoys the cities, wilds, and waterways of the Sunshine State.
He started many years ago with desktop publishing of an annual Halloween anthology entitled Tales from the Still Beating Heart. Professionally, he has worked as a staff writer at a vacation rental company on Clearwater Beach where he wrote marketing content and a beach blog that eventually won an award. He has published four heroic fantasy novels which encompass the series entitled The Jeweler of Tirravon. His trilogy book series, Leviathan Brood, is in progress and near completion. He is published with Ink’d Publishing in the anthologies Hidden Villains I (Fear of Monsters), Hidden Villains II Arise (Cinnamon Girl), Non-Corporeal I (Down to Size), Non-Corporeal II (Backdraft of Secrets), and Detectives, Sleuths, and Nosy Neighbors (Murder on a Dark Stair) where his byline found its way onto the cover of the anthology.
