Patrick F. Murphy

Patrick F. Murphy uses his middle initial because Robert A. Heinlein used his. Throughout his adult life, he has collected employment experiences to give the characters in his stories more diverse backgrounds. His career path includes shoe salesman, fast food worker at the counter and the grill, newspaper reporter with a weekly column, public relations, graphic designer and freelance glass and wood artist. Finally retired, he moved with his partner and dog to The Bronx where he spends his time reading, writing and walking.

His short stories have been published in Behind the Shadows II; Joining Forces; Full Moon and Howlin’: A Werewolf Anthology; Zombiality: A Queer Bent on the Undead; Kaleidoscope: Lenses on Reality; and the Midwest Literary Magazine webzine. He also has two serials available at Kindle Vella, and three middle-grade titles self-published on Amazon.
