We’re going to try a new anthology: Impulse – an explicit romance anthology – spicy! Edited by Brenda Cothern & Heather Norris

Submission Period: March 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024

Theme: Impulse An explicit romance anthology; we’re searching for spicy romance. This will be a diverse and inclusive anthology with high heat levels accepted throughout.

There are no restrictions on gender or sexuality. Feel free to get warm in a snowed-in lodge in Colorado, let your shifters and cryptids frolic, break out Victorian lace, or set your story in deep space with alien first contact – we’re okay with it all.
Stories that contain infanticide, gratuitous gore, or rape, including dubious consent, will not be considered. BDSM within the grounds of the rules previously stated is acceptable.

Submission Period: March 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024
Submissions: No AI, 1 per author; no reprints, no simultaneous submissions;
Submission Cost: Free
Word Limit: 2,000 to 8,000 words

Our Favorite Amazing Fandom Convention

Come visit us! We’ll have a booth in the vendors hall with Robyn Huss visiting.

This wonderfully diverse and inclusive convention offers so much for family and friends. There’s horror, sci-fi, and fantasy panels along with makers track. Bring you author friends as there will be plenty to do at the writing track. Check out their website at Multiverse.org.
We’ll have a panel Sunday afternoon at 2 pm and will be giving out some goodies so come visit.

We’re looking for mysteries and detectives, noir or cozy. Our mystery anthology will be our first, though we’ve discussed it for a while. Submissions close end of November.

We’re looking for readers who love that kind of stuff. We hope to have the book available in Winter of 2024.

A lover of the mystery genre, A. Balsamo will be editing the anthology. We expect a high number of submission so we’ll keep you updated on the timeline for release.

Sara Jordan-Heintz selected a wide group of authors for her stories this year and the topics are just as diverse. We’ll be doing our usual Kickstarter to help keep the lights on. Our goal is four or five anthologies per year. We’ll be at three for 2023.
