Author Spotlight: Sara Jordan-Heintz, author in the Hidden Villains anthology with her story, The Acquisition of Vidalia Somerset.
I’ve had the characters and outline for The Acquisition of Vidalia Somerset in my head for about a decade. I’m a journalist, but my fiction has always been decidedly macabre. “The Twilight Zone” serves as inspiration. My novella “A Day Saved is a Day Earned” was published in Rod Serling Books’ anthology “Submitted For Your Approval” edited by Anne Serling.
We are down to the last run on the slush pile. Hope to have results in two to three weeks. Thank you to everyone that submitted to Hidden Villains.
Wow! David Farland has agreed to include one of his short stories in our first anthology, “Hidden Villains”. This will certainly make it an anthology you don’t want to miss. I’m over the top excited about his addition to our little project and hope you are as well.
We have been working on a fabulous addition to our anthology and hope to be able to reveal it to everyone very soon. This concerns the lead story in our anthology, “Hidden Villains” and we can’t wait to make it public!
We’re fully funded to undergo our first anthology, “Hidden Villains”. We’ve got Robyn Huss in place as our editor, and are in discussion with the cover design artists. It will take a while to get the submissions in and pick through them, but we hope to be edited and in place to publish by spring of 2022.
